LUCAS RIDING ACADEMY

Horseback Riding Lessons

Lucas Riding Academy offers horseback riding lessons for riders of all ages and skill levels, from beginners just starting out to advanced riders. Each lesson is tailored to build essential riding skills, strength, and confidence in a structured and supportive environment. Our instructors work closely with riders to ensure steady improvement and a deeper connection with the horses. For those interested in taking their riding to the next level, we also provide specialized competition team lessons, where riders learn advanced techniques, prepare for shows, and develop teamwork skills within a close-knit group. Whether riding for recreation or competition, Lucas Riding Academy is committed to helping every rider reach their fullest potential.

Lessons are tailored to the riders and designed for them to practice the skills they've learned and progress with new challenges.

Our facility includes two spacious indoor riding arenas with comfortable viewing areas, making it easy for family and friends to cheer on riders as they progress. On beautiful days, our outdoor riding space offers an ideal environment for riders to enjoy the fresh air and connect with nature. Riding outdoors provides the opportunity for riders to learn additional skills that cannot be simulated in the indoor arena. The stimulating environment adds different dynamic variables for our riders to overcome such as surprise squirrels and beautiful butterflies that cross our path. With a commitment to providing professional instruction and a safe learning atmosphere,

Lucas Riding Academy creates an ideal setting for anyone looking to start or enhance their riding journey. Our lessons are customized to each rider’s needs and goals, emphasizing skill development, confidence, and a deep bond with the horses. Riders are encouraged to practice what they’ve learned and are consistently presented with new challenges that match their growing abilities. From foundational skills for beginners to advanced techniques for experienced riders, we ensure each lesson is both productive and enjoyable. Our instructors are dedicated to fostering a positive, growth-oriented experience for every participant, supporting them in building confidence on and off the saddle.

It captures some-not all- of what riders learn at each level.  I will send you the “skill levels” in an email. You will also receive a Welcome to Lucas Riding Academy  sheet that has a lot of useful information.
